Welcome to the Papua New Guinea’s National Online Selection System – facilitating school leaver application for admission into higher education institutions.

NOSS remains the property of the National Government of Papua New Guinea and is administered by the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology. This portal’s access is distinctive to PNG Higher Education Institutions registered and or recognized by the Department of Higher Education Research Science and Technology (DHERST).
In this year’s cycle, respective HEIs’ are advised to access your NOSS accounts from now till 28th August 2023 to make necessary changes in your NOSS account particularly on the:

1. Academic program description and quota
2. Refine or improve academic program requirements

Please note that DHERST has included the STEM subjects in the subject requirement list. HEIs’ are encourage to include the STEM subject as part of your programme requirements.

Always click on the SAVE button to save any changes you have done in your account

All HEIs’ are required to make all necessary changes in your NOSS account and complete the two points mentioned above within the expected timeframe. New changes in NOSS will not be allowed after the due date has lapsed. School leavers will be given access to the NOAS soon after the 28th August 2023 hence your prompt response and corporation is much appreciated.
